Who we are

Who's behind the initiative

Be Family Belgium is the result of a shared commitment between a Belgian non-profit and a pioneering French initiative.

Be Family France

Created in 2024 in France, Be Family is actively involved in transforming HR policies with a view to improving work-life balance. Be Family has successfully implemented a methodological framework and a mechanism for tailor-made support for companies.

La Ligue des familles

The Ligue des familles is the leading parenting organization in French-speaking Belgium. Every day, the association works to build a society that meets the needs of parents. The Ligue des Familles is behind the Be Family movement in Belgium, a project that will also fuel its advocacy work to improve gender equality and work-life balance in Belgium as a whole.

Our goal is to spark collective change, wherever work happens. We help organizations build a more sustainable economy — one that serves the common good and responds to the real needs and lifestyles of current and future generations.

Our mission is to bring together organizations, encourage the exchange of best practices, and spread new ideas backed by field research. We provide practical tools for improving workplace culture and measure the impact on both organizations and their people.

We turn workplace insights into policy recommendations and push for new standards — shaping laws and regulations that better reflect the realities of modern life.
